Job descriptionImplement and enforce global IT standards, policies, and procedures across all networks, platforms, and service operations. Conduct audits to ensure strict adherence. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-speed networks (LAN / WAN), servers, virtualization, data centers, and ensure robust and secure wireless connectivity. Ensure IT effectively supports manufacturing operations and optimizes office network performance, minimizing downtime. Lead IT projects from planning to completion, collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive critical IT solutions. Act as a primary IT contact for internal departments and external customers. Proactively engage stakeholders to gather detailed IT requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into actionable IT solutions that align with evolving business needs. Implement security policies, conduct audits, and develop disaster recovery plans. What we’re looking for Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3-5 years in IT management within a high-tech manufacturing or R&D environment. Proven experience overseeing IT personnel and managing daily IT department operations. Strong understanding of manufacturing IT systems and critical production support. Experience in managing complex IT infrastructure, including enterprise networks and wireless solutions. Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and enforcing IT standards and ensuring compliance. Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP (or equivalent) are strongly preferred. Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Proficiency in project management methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII) is seeking an experienced IT Manager for our San Jose facility.
This role is vital for overseeing IT operations, personnel, and ensuring the seamless function of both our critical production environments and robust office network systems.
You'll ensure all IT services, including wireless connectivity, consistently meet our global IT Standards.
