Job Summary
Most work will occur in the field under typical (hot and humid) Alabama conditions; some laboratory work is also expected
Essential Functions
- Traveling to field sites around Alabama
- Assist w / native bee field work including setting up insect traps & sweep netting
- Processing insect specimens for pinning
- Assisting w / outreach events
- Collecting / Entering data into spreadsheets
- Assist w / beekeeping tasks such as hive management
- Honeybee box building & maintenance
- Research related tasks
- Assist w / outreach events
- Collecting / Entering data into spreadsheets
