Business Development Manager

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager!! Hours : Monday - Friday; 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM (Expected hours : 40 45 per week) Pay : $55,000 - $75,000.00 per year Address : Fairfax, VA Do you enjoy meeting new people? Function : Generate sales to contribute to the branch's overall revenue, gross profit, and net profit.

What is the basic purpose of the job?

  • Generate temporary service sales by developing new client relationships.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales, gross margin, and profit targets.
  • Foster relationships with new clients.
  • Maintain relationships at the critical decision-maker level with high potential accounts.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required. The individual must be able to supervise and maintain positive relationships with clients, externally and internally.

    Essential Duties and / or Responsibilities Duties :

  • Develop new client sales.
  • Net 4 new clients per month.
  • Develop leads for the pipeline.
  • Funnel of 200 prospects at a time.
  • Qualify leads, identify potential targets.
  • 50 - 65 outside sales calls per week.
  • 40 - 50 inside sales calls per week.
  • Develop Sales Plans for each marketing opportunity.
  • Standard plans set up and customized for each visit.
  • Develop relationships with all levels of buyers at target companies.
  • Visits lead to a next step in the marketing process.
  • 4 - 6 appointment visits per week.
  • Visits conducted include : client profile, action plan development, assignment details, service team intro, tour of our facilities, performance review and planning. You will learn this in your initial training.
  • Develop business contacts through networking in business oriented or community programs.
  • Education and / or Experience : Bachelor's Degree is preferred but can be substituted for similar experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Skills : Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively respond to questions or complaints from managers, clients, employees and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills : Basic math skills, including : addition, subtraction, division and percentages.

    Reasoning Ability : Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment and discretion according to company policies and to ensure profitability.

    Work Environment : Ability to work effectively and independently with all levels within the organization. Ability to work well under pressure and strong organizational ability.

    Experience : Business Development : 2 years (Preferred)

    Work Location : In person
