JOB SUMMARY

The Head of Finance will be responsible for directing the financial strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting functions for Bci Miami. The Head of Finance serves as a strategic business partner to U.S. executive leadership and the Foreign Head Office, driving profitable growth, and ensuring financial control. The Head of Finance will lead the budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes while overseeing a comprehensive financial reporting framework.

DUTIES OF THE POSITION

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :

Strategic Planning and Financial Management

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning cycles for Bci Miami.
• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to senior management, providing data‑driven insights to support decision‑making, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and present financial analysis and business cases for major projects, capital expenditures, and new business / product initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation.

In the performance of their duties, all Bci – Miami Branch staff members are required to comply with all state and federal regulatory and legal requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1979, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the Bank Bribery Amendments Act. Additionally, all staff members must comply with Bci’s Personnel Manual and Code of Ethics and other policies of Bci which are currently in place or may become effective during employment.

PRE‑HIRE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

Computer Skills

Ability to operate IBM compatible personal computers; fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Python, Google Suite, and other banking applications needed to perform the functions of the position.

Education

Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or related field desired.

Certifications / Licenses

CFA and / or CPA is desired but not required.
