Qualifications :

2+ years of verifiable automotive technician experience

ASE certification

High school diploma or equivalent

A valid driver's license

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Professional personal appearance

Excellent communication skills

Ability to meet the company's production and quality standards

Must be able to work in Manhattan, KS

Job-Specific Responsibilities :

Aim for 100% productivity

Use factory specifications for all repairs

Provide excellent customer service

Complete repair work within the allotted time

Submit parts requests promptly

Keep the service writer or service manager informed of any delays

Assist the service writer as needed

Maintain a clean and efficient work area

Keep paperwork completed and filed after each job

Stay current with training programs

Ensure the vehicle is cleaner when the job is completed

Make each job thorough and complete to reduce return repairs

Thoroughly inspect vehicles and make recommendations
