We are looking for a Vice President of Sales who will serve as the strategic leader and visionary for our Sales unit within our Insurance Agency.
As VP of Sales, you will be tasked with building a high performing sales team and driving profitable revenue growth. At your core, you must be a people leader that has a track record of building a winning culture that attracts, develops, and retains top sales talent.
This role is perfect for an individual that enjoys a fast paced environment with minimal red tape and being empowered to drive change across large operation.
Working cross-functionally with other business and technology leaders, this person must be able to organize and direct initiatives with ease.
This role reports directly to the President of Insurance and will have a massive impact on client's success.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and manage all aspects of our Agency sales team to include Insurance Advisors and Inside Sales Representatives.
- Responsible for ownership and communication of the sales vision and strategy.
- Builds a strong high-performance culture that is built on growth, professional development, accountability, and ethical behavior.
- Fosters an environment that allows for teammates to thrive and consistently level up.
- Responsible for optimal sales organization design which includes sales roles, channel design, and sales resources deployment.
- Takes ownership of key sales initiatives to drive results within the Sales Department. Must be able to effectively communicate the impact of initiatives leveraging data to help influence decision making.
- Responsible for clear documentation of business processes and ideating on new technology builds to support growth within the Sales Department.
- Constantly challenging the status quo, making company wide suggestions for improvements to business and technology processes.
- Responsible for consistently achieving our Monthly Sales Forecast by driving improvements in our conversion, bundle, and retention rates.
- Responsible for managing the Department P&L, budget and forecast.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated (7+ years) experience overseeing Inside Sales Teams preferably in a Call Center environment.
- Proven ability to build and scale sales teams to 100+, ideally in multiple sites
- Effective at leading and growing an elite sales management team
- Able to work directly with C-Level Executives internally and externally.
- Exceptional strategic thinking ability and the drive to execute towards a vision
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with and positively influence others.
- High levels of emotional intelligence and proven collaboration skills.
