Hendershot Cowart P.C. is seeking a skilled Administrative Law Attorney with a strong background in healthcare and regulatory law to support our legal team in managing complex administrative matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative law with a particular focus on healthcare-related proceedings and extensive experience representing clients before Texas state agencies, federal agencies and contractors.

• Position responsibilities include :
• Represent clients in administrative hearings and enforcement actions before the Texas Medical Board, Texas Board of Nursing and Texas Department of Insurance
• Defend against recoupment actions initiated by Novitas, Qlarant and CMS
• Provide strategic counsel on healthcare regulations and administrative procedures.
• Qualifications :
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum of 5 years of administrative law experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Former experience with the U.S. Department of Justice is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
• Deep understanding of Medicare / Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems.
• Experience with audits, investigations, and compliance matters.
• Ability to manage a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.

Pay : From $150,000.00 per year
