Overview
The Rare Disease Account Manager (RDAM) will have a passion for patients diagnosed with Acute Intermittent Porphyria (AIP), Cystinosis, and NAGS deficiency and will own promotional relationships and business results with healthcare providers and ancillary staff in an assigned geography. The RDAM will be accountable for deploying sales strategies for approved products and growing sales volume and market share of Recordati’s rare disease products consistent with RRD’s compliance standards.
The RDAM will build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and leverage customer insights to develop strategies and solutions that facilitate access to the Recordati portfolio in hospitals. Collaboration with local HCPs will be key to ensuring appropriate prescribing of our medications. The person in this role will be responsible for growing sales volume and market share of Recordati’s rare disease products within a specified geographic territory.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The role actively moves throughout the workday, including travel by car or plane to offices, hospitals, and medical centers.
Based upon job requirements, the employee may be required at times to attend meetings, including travel out of state over weekends and nights. The employee must be able to freely operate and travel by car and train / plane modes of transportation. The employee is required to have a valid driver’s license and means of transportation.
Physical Demands
The employee must be able to fly via commercial air carrier. This is an active role; the employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally it is required to lift and / or move light to moderate weight up to 25 lbs.

Base Pay Range : $148,000 - $203,500 per year. Other types of pay : Eligible for participation in a Sales Incentive Plan.

The pay range listed represents the expected base salary range for California applicants. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
