Job Summary :

Are you a motivated and experienced commercial HVAC service sales representative who is looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy finding and pursuing new sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and closing sales?

We are seeking a sales representative who can leverage their degree or diploma in a related field, such as HVAC, engineering, or business, and their at least three years of experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC or related industry, to provide high-quality HVAC solutions to our commercial clients.

You will also demonstrate your excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, as well as your technical knowledge of HVAC systems and services, to establish trust and rapport with customers and colleagues.

You must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to meet with clients.

As a sales representative, you will be accountable for the following :

Responsibilities :

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities for commercial HVAC services by conducting market research, generating leads, and following up with prospects.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers and clients by providing regular follow-ups, updates, and feedback, and by addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Conducting site visits and assessments to determine the HVAC needs of commercial clients by inspecting their facilities, evaluating their current systems, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals and quotes to clients by analyzing their HVAC needs, designing customized solutions, and outlining the benefits and costs of our services.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing sales by persuading clients to choose our services, agreeing on the terms and conditions, and ensuring the proper documentation and authorization.
  • Collaborating with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction by communicating the client's expectations, coordinating the service delivery, and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments by attending trade shows, seminars, and workshops, and by reading industry publications and newsletters.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • A degree or diploma in a related field, such as HVAC, engineering, or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three years of experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC or related industry, or proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and services, including installation, maintenance, repair, and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to meet with clients, sometimes on short notice.

  • Organizational skills : The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and to work independently, using time management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability : The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs, and to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, using flexibility, creativity, and resilience.
