Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced NG911 Addressing Authority

to play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of our

next-generation 911 services. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with

strong Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expertise and a commitment to public

safety data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

comprehensive GIS data layers essential for NG911 functionality,

including street centerlines, address points, and jurisdictional

boundaries.

NG911 location data records for our customer base to ensure

compliance with national and state NG911 standards. This involves

regular data quality control checks and system validation.

contact for customers and facility managers to coordinate, verify,

update, and certify NG911 location data for their premises.

Addressing Authority for our customers, including verifying and

resolving official physical addresses according to established policy.

addressing changes, data audits, and customer interactions. Generate

reports on data quality and system readiness as required.

relevant state (Alabama) and national (NENA) standards for Next

Generation 911 systems.

Qualifications

Required

with GIS data creation, analysis, and maintenance.

ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap) and geodatabase management.

Work Environment & Travel

This is an on-site position based in Hoover, AL, with regular regional travel expected

to client sites. A valid state driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Schedule

Standard Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
