A company is looking for a Coordinator Disability Advocacy Program.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare case management files for members eligible for SSI or CSHCS benefits and maintain documentation in the database
Coordinate the CSHCS / SSI conversion application process and facilitate communication with members, providers, and Medicaid offices
Maintain relationships with providers to exchange medical documentation and verify information for SSI / CSHCS eligibility
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
3 to 5 years of managed care experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records procedures
Familiarity with case management referral procedures and state requirements
Experience with Children's Special Health Care Services program or medical claims processing preferred
