Area Extended Stay Sales Manager
The Area Extended Stay Sales Manager drives revenue growth in the extended stay segment and executes sales strategies under the direction of the Campus Director of Sales and Dual Director of Sales. This position is responsible for managing key extended stay accounts, developing new extended stay business opportunities, and supporting sales initiatives focused on long-term guest programs across the hotel properties within the area portfolio. Primary duties consist of performing office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations. Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Essential Job Functions
- Executes Sales strategies developed by the Campus Director of Sales and Dual Director of Sales to achieve individual and property revenue targets in the extended stay and contract segment across the area portfolio.
- Manages and grows a portfolio of key extended stay and contract accounts including corporate housing clients, relocation companies, government contracts, and long-term travel partners for the area with focus on extended stay room night production.
- Develops new business relationships through prospecting, cold calling, and networking activities targeting extended stay and contract clients across the area market.
- Conducts site inspections, client presentations, and proposal development for potential extended stay and contract accounts at all area properties.
- Negotiates extended stay rates, contract terms, and agreements within established parameters and Company guidelines for area extended stay and contract accounts.
- Identifies and pursues new market opportunities in the extended stay and contract segment including corporate relocation programs, project-based housing, government and military contracts, insurance displacement, and long-term individual travelers across the area.
- Builds and maintains relationships with relocation coordinators, corporate housing providers, insurance adjusters, government procurement officers, contract administrators, and extended stay decision-makers on behalf of the area portfolio.
- Participates in trade shows, sales missions, and industry events focused on extended stay, corporate housing, and contract business to promote the area properties.
- Collaborates with property teams across all area hotels to ensure seamless service delivery for extended stay guests, contract clients, and long-term programs.
- Serves as a liaison between the Campus Director of Sales, Dual Directors of Sales, and individual properties to ensure consistent execution of extended stay and contract Sales strategies.
- Works closely with the Campus Director of Sales and dual Directors of Sales to implement extended stay and contract Sales initiatives across the area properties.
- Provides Sales support to individual properties when needed, including on-site assistance with extended stay and contract accounts during peak periods.
- Maintains accurate records in Sales systems and provides regular activity reports focused on extended stay and contract production for the area.
- Tracks personal sales performance against established goals and key performance indicators specific to the extended stay and contract segment across the area portfolio.
- Monitors market trends, extended stay patterns, contract opportunities, and competitive activities within the area's extended stay and contract territory.
- Prepares Sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis with emphasis on extended stay and contract performance for Campus Director of Sales and dual Directors of Sales review.
- Participates in weekly Sales meetings and monthly business reviews for the area.
- Assists with development of Sales strategies and tactical plans focused on extended stay and contract growth for the area portfolio.
- Attendance is a key component of this position.
- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards; wears the appropriate uniform or attire.
- Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management across the area.
- Attends and participates in team meetings.

Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent in related field.Experience
