Assistant Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support successful project execution across commercial construction projects. This role provides direct support to the Project Manager, coordinating documentation, communication, scheduling, and project workflow to ensure projects stay on track from initiation through closeout.
Support the project manager with project coordination and administrative tasks
Assist with change orders, submittals, and project documentation
Communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
Assist with scheduling, tracking milestones, and maintaining organized project documents
Review and update plans and specifications (training provided)
Conduct occasional job site visits (rare, approx. 1x / year)
Exposure to a growing project portfolio
Hands-on mentorship and growth-focused leadership
ESOP participation after 1 year
Reports to : Director of Operations
Project team includes 1 project manager and 3 purchasing team members
Procore (training available)
Microsoft Office (required)
