Auto Body Service Writer
Job Title : Experienced Auto Body Service Writer Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Service Writer to join our team.
As a vital part of our operation, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the service needs of our customers' vehicles.
Your role will involve assessing damages, providing accurate estimates, and communicating effectively with both customers and our team of technicians to ensure a seamless repair process.
Responsibilities : Greet customers and assess their vehicle's repair needs. Provide accurate and detailed estimates for repairs, including labor and parts costs.
Communicate effectively with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates on timelines and any additional work required.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards. Document all service and repair activities accurately.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements : Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Auto Body Service Writer. Proficiency in estimating software and knowledge of industry-standard repair procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in automotive repair are a plus.
