Summary :

Responsible for coordinating events and managing event sponsorships as deemed system priorities by management. Serves as point person managing all events details on the marketing team.

Provides operational and tactical support for plans and projects as assigned by management. Supports Senior Marketing Strategists and / or Marketing Strategists to execute marketing plans to drive volume and revenue growth as well as any other key priorities for Summa Health.

Manage small service lines with the support of System Director, Marketing. Develop and execute annual plans.

Minimum Qualifications :

1. Formal Education Required :

a. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field of study.

2. Experience & Training Required :

a. Three (3) years of marketing and / or communications experience or equivalent completed post graduate work.

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications :

a. Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, time management, problem solving, and leadership skills

b. Proven experience in managing events or projects with attention to detail

c. Ability to work well within a team environment, work well with physicians, department directors, staff, businesses and community members

d. Ability to make decisions and judgments that support the growth and future of Summa Health.

e. Ability to effectively and efficiently complete projects on time and on budget.

f. Able to critically analyze situations for marketing opportunities to support growth

g. Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

h. Ability to remain calm under pressure.

i. Demonstrated competency of marketing principals and theories and able to apply them to business need. Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing, traditional marketing, and branding.

j. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients / customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

4. Level of Physical Demands :

a. Sedentary and Active : Exerts up to twenty pounds of event materials and is frequently actively mobile.

The salary range on this job posting / advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
