Summary

The Associate Vice President (AVP), Technology Integrations will serve as the enterprise leader responsible for driving the strategy, governance, and execution of technology integrations across Mosaic Health's multi-state, multi-entity environment. This leader will oversee integration planning and execution for mergers, acquisitions, and new market expansions, ensuring alignment of technology infrastructure, clinical systems, and digital tools across diverse operating entities.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer for Mosaic Health, the AVP will translate enterprise integration strategies into actionable roadmaps that enable scalability, operational efficiency, and system interoperability. This role requires a strong balance of technical depth, program leadership, and change management expertise to ensure seamless transitions during complex integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute the enterprise integration strategy, ensuring technology alignment with Mosaic's business, clinical, and operational goals.
  • Lead integration due diligence and develop post-acquisition technology roadmaps, ensuring continuity and optimization of systems across new entities.
  • Establish enterprise integration frameworks, governance models, and standardized processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for major integration programs, overseeing budget, timelines, and resource allocations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with IT, Clinical Operations, Digital Transformation, and Shared Services to align system architectures and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Presidents, CIOs, and technology leaders to ensure harmonized infrastructure, data exchange, and application strategies.
  • Provide expert consultation on interoperability standards, system migrations, and data conversion strategies for newly integrated organizations.
  • Program Execution & Oversight

  • Direct a portfolio of integration projects, balancing tactical execution with long-term platform standardization.
  • Lead a team of Integration Managers and Specialists responsible for technology onboarding and enablement across new and existing markets.
  • Monitor program KPIs, risk profiles, and post-integration performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee vendor relationships related to system integration, ensuring accountability and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Governance & Risk Management

  • Implement risk mitigation and change management strategies during integration initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, CMS) during technology transitions.
  • Provide regular executive-level reporting on integration progress, risks, and ROI realization.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years leading technology integration or enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Proven success managing integrations related to mergers, acquisitions, or practice onboarding within a healthcare delivery or health plan environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare IT ecosystems, including EMR systems, data platforms, interoperability standards (HL7 / FHIR), and clinical workflows.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of translating integration complexity into actionable operational plans.
  • Exceptional ability to lead through influence across a matrixed, multi-entity organization.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare technology infrastructure, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Skilled in vendor management, resource planning, and large-scale program governance.
  • Excellent executive communication and relationship management skills.
  • Agile mindset with a focus on scalability, standardization, and value realization.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project leadership certification preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Physical Demands
