Our client is about to launch of a new brand with expansion plans across select US markets.
For this Executive Chef Partner launching an impactful Italy cuisine restaurant, we seek a visionary Chef Partner, who will play a pivotal role in this fine dining, Italy cuisine restaurant's future growth. We need a chef dedicated to creating an environment of creativity, passion, and community.
- Pre-Opening Responsibilities : Develop plans for hiring, leadership, OSE selections, equipment plans, and smallware selections. Lead culinary menu development.
- Leadership + Team Development : Build, lead, mentor and motivate a high performing kitchen team.
- Menu Development + Implementation : Stay current with latest trends. Use creative control for menu changes .
- Operational Efficiency : Ensure food costs and labor are within budget.
- Culinary Leadership (5 year minimum) in various cuisines with a heavy focus on Italy cuisine concepts
- New concept opening experience.
- Knowledge of Italy culinary style including but not limited to cuisine, Pasta programs, Pastry Programs
- Experience growing and scaling a new concept; multi-unit operations a plus.
- Extreme ownership mentality; Entrepreneurial spirit
- Competency in financial procedures & systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and people skills
