Credit Balance Specialist

A company is looking for a Credit Balance Specialist to manage credit balance accounts and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough screening of credit balance accounts and confirm account details in the patient accounting system

Review and reverse invalid adjustments to clear credit balances and provide resolutions for assigned accounts

Manage accounts receivable and prepare documentation for provider approval on identified overpayments

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems

Ability to concentrate on tasks for extended periods

Experience in Revenue Cycle or Patient Accounting preferred

Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred
