Job Summary
Mission Community Hospital is currently looking for a ICU Registered Nurse to join their growing team. You will be responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures.
You will deliver individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments, as well as the patient and their families.
Must Comply with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.

Responsibilities
- Staying organized and follow physicians' patient care plans
- Administering medication and using complex medical equipment
- Communicating clearly and honestly with people from all backgrounds
- Keeping good records and maintaining patients' chart
- Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
- Properly using PPE and other protection equipment
- Standing for long periods and working in environments where there may be infectious material.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
Current state license as an RN
Proof of current BLS certification, must be American Heart Association
Compassionate, friendly demeanor
Excellent communication skills
