Estimator
The Estimator ensures the success of assigned estimates by overseeing all activities from planning to procurement. They provide estimates, manage budgets, bid coverage, and oversee procurement during the pre-construction and construction phases of a project across all scopes. Estimates vary from conceptual to lump sum bids.
Salary $100,000.00 to $150,000.00

Essential Functions :
Oversee estimation process and client submissions.Finalize trade contracts through comprehensive procurement.Communicate effectively across all project phases.Develop and review trade-specific scopes of work.Expand trade contractor bids and obtain proposals.Ensure compliance with labor and MWBE requirements.Prepare detailed cost estimates.Conduct trade contractor prequalification.Maintain resources for accurate estimates.Use specialized software for estimating and procurement.Delegate tasks and mentor team members.Professionally represent Aurora and uphold its values.Appreciated skills :

A typical day could be working at Aurora’s main office, reviewing project designs, engaging trade contractors proposing on our projects along with creating scopes and estimates. A typical day will also include attending project team meetings with coworkers, clients and the design team explaining the cost and constructability implications of the project.
Qualifications :
Deep knowledge of construction trades and regulations.Proficiency in MS Office programsProficiency in Adobe, PlanGrid, & AutoCADPreferred Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.7+ years of experience in construction estimating.Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must provide examples of preconstruction projects.Must provide examples of successful competitive bids.Full Time, Exempt :
Monday – Friday 8-5pm
(Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand)
