Are you looking to elevate your HR career and make a real impact where people and strategy meet? We are on the lookout for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a passion for driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee development. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the business to deliver value-added service to associates and management in alignment with company goals. In this role, you will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business units you support, their plans, and objectives. This is a hybrid work environment position with at least 3 days on site at the Torrance, CA location.

Estimated Salary : $90,000 to $115,000 annually based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

What you'll do :

• Partner with department leaders to understand business goals and develop aligned HR strategies
• Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development
• Lead initiatives that elevate employee experience and engagement
• Provide policy guidance and interpretation
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
• Work with managers on safety incident review and management
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees ensuring regulatory compliance
• Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and team effectiveness
• Guide managers through performance conversations, employee relations, and change initiatives
• Guide managers on employee recognition, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.
• Collaborate across HR functions and partner departments to deliver seamless support from employee onboarding to development to employee departures
• Use data to uncover trends, solve problems, and spark innovation
• Lead HR training needs for business units and individual development needs
• Perform other related duties as assigned
