IT PROJECT MANAGER
Position Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing assigned IT projects across the Aultman Health System. This individual will take direction from the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Department Summary
The Information Technology (IT) Department at Aultman Health Foundation supports both Aultman Hospital and AultCare, the health insurance division. Our team provides the technology, systems, and services that enable high-quality patient care and efficient business operations. This includes maintaining electronic medical records, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and insurance platforms, as well as delivering innovative solutions that improve the patient and member experience. The department works closely with clinical, insurance, and administrative teams to ensure that technology is reliable, secure, and aligned with the mission of improving the health of our community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday, Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent).

Responsibilities & Expectations
Manage end-to-end IT projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.Monitor project progress, manage risks / issues, and escalate concerns to leadership as needed.Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.Coordinate resources (internal teams, external vendors, consultants) to ensure timely task completion.Track and report project status to the CIO and other senior leaders.Ensure project documentation, deliverables, and knowledge transfer are completed.Promote project management standards, best practices, and continuous I improvement.Department Responsibilities & Expectations

Category III - Includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and Category I tasks are not a condition of employment. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood; body fluids or tissues (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone anywhere might encounter potential exposure to body fluids.)
