Are you dedicated to creating a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of children and families?
We're seeking an organized and compassionate Child Welfare Case Manager to help children achieve safety, stability, and permanency. In this critical role, you'll work directly with families referred to by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) due to allegations of abuse or neglect. You'll assess needs, coordinate services, and guide families through complex emotional and legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Florida Pre-Service Training and obtain certification within one year
- Conduct safety assessments and develop case and visitation plans
- Coordinate services and monitor family progress
- Maintain documentation and appear in court for case updates
- Collaborate with DCF, legal teams, and service providers
- Support placements, medical access, and independent living
- Provide on-call support and participate in quality improvement

Starting salary $50,000.00
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services (e.g., social work, psychology)
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance must meet all driving requirements and guidelines to operate SCC fleet vehicles and / or a personal vehicle for work-related activities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must complete 40 hours of annual training and agency orientation
