Job description

Workplace Experience Coordinator

We are looking for a Workplace Experience Coordinator to join our team in New York, NY. This is a contract position for a duration of one month, with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth workplace operations and delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will range from managing daily office services to coordinating events and maintaining security protocols.

Responsibilities :

  • Issue visitor and parking passes while adhering to established security procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to groups of varying sizes with confidence and professionalism.
  • Arrange and confirm dining, recreational, and business activities upon request.
  • Handle janitorial and maintenance work orders as required, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Organize and oversee on-site events, including securing spaces, setting up and tearing down event materials, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and coworkers, providing thoughtful solutions with a customer service focus.
  • Monitor workplace services such as mail, office supplies, and onboarding processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Coordinate with vendors to manage services and goods provided to the workplace.
  • Follow building-specific security and emergency procedures, notifying appropriate personnel to maintain safety.
  • Communicate detailed information clearly and effectively within the team, following directives from management.

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with up to two years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to follow established routines and standards with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying straightforward information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in customer service and office functions.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with vendors effectively.
