Weekend evenings CNA/CMA work
Bay Area Support Services is looking for a CNA / CMA to join our team in providing support to a very "chill" younger woman with a diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy in her own home in Alameda.
Shifts available are Saturday and Sunday from 3pm-11pm. At times, you may be asked (well in advance) to stay a little later or come in a little earlier.
We have other positions available if a person is interested in full-time with full benefits.
Duties include : relieving LVN's from the 7am-3pm shift on time and completing the following duties : help re-position this woman in her wheelchair, assistance at meal times with meal prep / helping her eat her meals, meal cleanup, help with pet care (she has a volunteer job with a local dog rescue, and does some dog sitting), light housekeeping, laundry, assisting her with doing her hair, applying makeup, accompanying her using her own personal mini-van for shopping, pharmacy / labs, bars to meet friends, etc.
At the end of this shift, LVN's that are part of her support team relieve you.
