We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at , a 96 unit apartment community in Des Moines , Iowa.

In addition to the hourly rate, a sign on bonus of $1,500 minus taxes will be included if hired by 9 / 1 / 21! ($750 after 30 days of employment;

$750 after 6 months of employment)

Position Summary :

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Community Manager with the daily operations of the property.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals
• Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service
• Assist the Community Manager to train, direct, motivate, and assist site personnel
• Establish positive relationships within the community
• Be on-call as scheduled by management

Qualifications :

• 1 - 2 years previous property management experience preferred
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar designation preferred
• Section 8, Section 42, and / or Market Rate experience preferred
• Yardi software experience preferred
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong judgment
