Duties including but not limited to :

• Perform terminal cleaning of operating room suites.
• Operate mechanical cleaning and scrubbing equipment, strip and refinish floor surfaces.
• Collect and transport waste materials / soiled linen to central location, wash walls and ceilings, clean restrooms and operate vacuum cleaning equipment.
• Be able to perform all cleaning duties that relate to the Environmental Services Department.

Required Qualifications :

Work Schedule : This position is 40 hours Midnights / Monday-Friday / 9 : 00 PM - 5 : 30 AM.

Union Affiliation : This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the AFSCME union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
