Dental Assistant Responsibilities :

As a Dental Assistant at Rising Smiles Dentistry, you'll be an integral part of our patient-focused practice. Your primary responsibilities will include :

Patient Preparation : Preparing patients for dental procedures with a caring and empathetic approach.

Infection Control : Ensuring the sterilization and sanitation of equipment, setting up instrument trays, and preparing supplies to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Assisting in Dental Procedures : Assisting dentists and dental hygienists during dental operations and procedures, contributing to the smooth and efficient flow of our practice.

Emergency Response : Assisting in the management of medical and dental emergencies when necessary.

Patient Care : Providing excellent patient care, offering guidance on dental hygiene, oral health, and plaque reduction.

Record Keeping : Collecting and recording medical and dental histories, as well as vital signs of patients.

Postoperative Care : Following postoperative care instructions provided by the dentist.

Equipment Maintenance : Maintaining and caring for dental equipment, including taking dental X-rays.

Inventory Management : Keeping track of dental equipment inventory and ordering necessary supplies.

Dental Assistant Requirements :

To thrive in this role at Rising Smiles Dentistry, you should have :

Certification : Dental X-ray certification is a must.

Computer Skills : Experience with various computer duties.

Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Skills : If you can perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing, that's a plus!
