Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN
The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for assisting in organizing and conducting physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
Responsibilities :
- Work alongside the Physical Therapists to develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Assist in evaluating the effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current VA PTA license
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Proven excellent customer service and patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
