As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the education location. Your role will be to support a secure environment while engaging with students, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the educational location to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents within the educational environment. Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and visitors to address inquiries or provide directions as needed. Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry. Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of all patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site policies. Minimum Requirements : At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A valid guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
