About the role :
You'll lead initiatives shaping user frequency and communication mediums on our platform. You'll work on the development of features and tools, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful products that promote seamless co-playing experiences and cultivate relevant connections.
This role is based at HQ (no remote option open).
You will :
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our 1 : 1 and small groups communication products within the Roblox platform.
- Help envision and build a unified, highly scalable, robust and distributed platform to power communication experiences.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to prioritize features and drive product development from concept to launch.
- Apply important measurements to establish strategies for enhancing communication experience for end users.
- Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in communication and gaming to inform product decisions.
- Create a smooth and user-friendly experience for communication features, using your knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Report to the Social Communications Group Lead.
You have :
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with expertise in shipping high-quality consumer apps, with a focus on communications and community products.
- Expertise in navigating communication product development, with a keen understanding of consumer content needs and trends.
- Technical proficiency in working closely with engineers.
- Genuine interest for gaming and a deep understanding of online communities and social interaction dynamics, allowing for informed product decisions and innovations.
- Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including engineering, data science, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and policy, to conceptualize, develop, test, and launch impactful communication tools tailored to user needs and preferences.
