Apprentice Electrician
A commercial construction company in San Antonio is seeking Apprentice Electricians for commercial projects in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in COMMERCIAL construction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including but not limited to, fuses, lights, and wiring.
- Diagnose electrical problems with the help of journeymen.
- Troubleshoot, Install, and repair electrical systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests.
- Pinpoint problems using a range of testing devices.
- Safely use various hand and power tools.
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations of the National Electrical Code.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Must be able to pass drug test.
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Valid apprentice electrician license.
- OSHA certification.
- At least 6 months of recent work experience.
- Must be able to work overtime.
- Must have recent experience with commercial new construction and or remodeling / renovations.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have proper identification for employment.
- Must have basic hand tools.
PAY RATE
$16-28 / hr (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
