Apprentice Electrician

A commercial construction company in San Antonio is seeking Apprentice Electricians for commercial projects in San Antonio and surrounding areas.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in COMMERCIAL construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including but not limited to, fuses, lights, and wiring.
• Diagnose electrical problems with the help of journeymen.
• Troubleshoot, Install, and repair electrical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests.
• Pinpoint problems using a range of testing devices.
• Safely use various hand and power tools.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations of the National Electrical Code.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Valid apprentice electrician license.
• OSHA certification.
• At least 6 months of recent work experience.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must have recent experience with commercial new construction and or remodeling / renovations.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have proper identification for employment.
• Must have basic hand tools.

PAY RATE

$16-28 / hr (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
