Senior Traffic Engineer
Responsibilities
- Lead traffic studies and traffic analysis projects
- Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation and / or AutoCAD software
- Opportunity to collaborate and support staff across the firm
- Develop and mentor less experienced traffic engineering staff
- Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery
- Maintain quality control of services and deliverables
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
- PE registration in the State of Ohio, or ability to be registered with reciprocity, PTOE desirable
- 10+ years of related traffic operations / studies
- Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microstation and / or AutoCAD
- Proficient with traffic engineering analysis software (HCS, Synchro, Sidra); Vissim and TransModeler experience is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
- Prior Project Management experience desired
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
