About the role :

We are looking for a Director of International Sales, reporting to the Vice President of Sales. This role is responsible for driving OUAI’s revenue growth across global markets as we expand our international footprint. The Director of International Sales will develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve revenue & profitability goals, as well as  identify new market opportunities by analyzing category and competitive landscape to recommend expansion opportunities. They will build & maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key partners worldwide. This role will manage the International Sales team.

Requirements

What you’ll do :

  • Lead international commercial strategy across UK, APAC, EMEA, and other priority markets.
  • Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities within key regions, adapting strategies to local market dynamics.
  • Analyze category and competitive landscape to recommend channel strategies (retail, e-commerce, distributors, duty-free, specialty beauty, etc.).
  • Own international revenue targets in partnership with VP of Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to build and deliver ambitious but achievable plans.
  • Develop and manage global retail and distributor partnerships.
  • Forecast and optimize product assortment in each market to ensure brand alignment and commercial success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Brand, and Operations to tailor market strategies while protecting OUAI’s global brand equity.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including white space, expansion channels, and emerging retail trend by leveraging our distribution partners expertise and various market analytics
  • Lead and mentor a growing international sales team to deliver on goals and grow with the business.

What you'll bring :

  • 8+ years of experience in international sales, ideally in beauty, personal care, or premium consumer goods

  • Deep understanding of global retail landscapes, with direct experience managing key markets across APAC and / or EMEA
  • Proven success in hitting and exceeding sales goals while scaling operations internationally
  • Strong financial acumen—able to manage budgets, build forecasts, and turn data into insights
  • A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset—you can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to make it happen
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop direct reports in a highly dynamic, high growth environment
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with a global perspective
