Customer Service Representative
LaSalle Network is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a leading consumer packaged goods manufacturer headquartered in Chicago. This Customer Service Representative will support customers, distributors and internal partners in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We are searching for someone detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working across multiple systems and inboxes to ensure orders, inventory questions and service requests are handled quickly and accurately.
What's the Job?
- Manage order entry, order changes and shipment tracking for retail and distributor accounts
- Respond to customer questions regarding inventory availability, delivery timelines and product information
- Work out of multiple shared inboxes and prioritize inquiries based on urgency
- Process claims, credits and adjustments with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with logistics, supply chain and sales to resolve fulfillment issues
- Update and maintain records within ERP and EDI / EDP systems
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms to review inventory, account notes and order statuses
- Assist with reporting and daily service metrics as needed
What's Needed?
2+ years of experience as a Customer Service Representative within CPG, manufacturing or distributionStrong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environmentExperience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 a strong plusFamiliarity with EDI / EDP workflowsAbility to work fully onsite in ChicagoExcellent organizational skills and accuracy in data entryProven success managing multiple inboxes and handling high-volume inquiriesWhat's in It For Me?
