Job description

Job Title

This is a remote position supporting LOGCAP. Responsible for the administration of the Kwajalein Task Order and associated change order activity. Is the initial point of contact for all administrative contractual communications with the customer (ACO and COR), Government agencies, e.g., DCMA, DCAA, and is authorized to obligate the company for matters associated with any assigned contract(s). Manage and coordinates contract changes that result in change proposals and coordinated letters of technical direction with the program team (Program Management, Pricing, Operations, Legal etc.). Under the direction of the INDOPACOM Senior Manager Contracts, assists in ensuring Contract compliance with Corporate policies, legal issues, FAR guidelines, and customer support. Identifies and resolves complex issues, exercising ethical judgment within broadly defined practices and policies. Leads and participates in making decisions related to Contracts and Business Management. May administer one or more major contracts. Coordinates with HQ functions as required. Responsible for protecting the legal and financial interests of the Corporation during all discussions and negotiations and interaction with customers, clients, etc.

  • Provides pre and post award administration of a variety of contracts types, including CPAF, FFP, FPAF, T&M, LH, IDIQ, BPA and BOAs,
  • Performs external customer liaison activities to include attendance at customer meetings, correspondence both verbal and written with customer personnel, and leading meetings with internal and external
  • Makes recommendations to management to execute contractual documents such as modifications, Memorandum of Agreements, Administrative Change Letters, and Letters of Technical Direction. Reviews such contractual documents to identify scope and clause changes, funding or contract value changes, and provides input to support any risk associated with acceptance of
  • Supports program teams to prepare and route risk documentation paperwork when contracts have not been finalized or during a funding shortfall while adequately determining and documenting the risk level to the
  • Develops and works with internal customers to create and process notification letters to customers involving scope changes, limitation of cost and funds, operational issues, and requests for
  • Involved in review of proposal documents in support of government RFPs. Also provides recommendation for changes to proposals and verifies compliance with the governments request. At times, involved in creation of proposal
  • Reviews contracts deliverable requirements to the customer and provides recommended changes. Submits contracts deliverable requirements to the customer when
  • Assists with A / R collections on assigned
  • Builds positive relationships with all corporate departments and operational teams by maintaining excellent internal and external customer service
  • Assists with creation or modification of contractual
  • Prepares and submits Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs) and
  • Supports the Compliance Team with program level and customer audits of assigned
  • Attends training both for internal compliance requirements and specialized courses that provide enhanced job-related

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • BS / BA in Contracts, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Acquisition, or related field. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • Mandatory Job Qualifications for V2X LOGCAP positions :
  • As a precondition to charge more than 50% of their time to LOGCAP, must be able, willing and ready to deploy to domestic and international locations, including on a temporary basis and / or as a member of the V2X Rapid Deployment Team (RDT). These locations can include austere, remote, and hazardous areas where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required

  • Experience
  • Minimum of 4-10 years experience in contracts or legal field

  • Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), agency supplements and the Govt. acquisition / RFP process
  • Skills
  • Work on Kwajalein with ability to travel to other project locations if required

  • Shall have a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and DoD FAR Supplement and contract changes and modification process
  • Basic software worksheet techniques
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Understanding of the accounting system, Contract Management policies and procedures
  • Ability to meet with and work with senior and middle management personnel internal and client teams
  • Other Requirements
  • The working environment may require overtime work.

  • Working conditions may include occasionally performing the requirements under certain time and resources constraints.
  • May require periodic travel.
  • Physical Requirements :
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
