$100,000-$105,000 + discretionary bonus

A mission-focused healthcare organization in Aurora is hiring a Director of Accounting to lead its finance team and oversee all aspects of accounting operations. The Director of Accounting will manage AP, Staff Accountants, and Accounting Clerks-driving accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across the department while maintaining a positive and collaborative team culture.

This hybrid role (one day remote per week) is ideal for an experienced accounting leader with 10+ years of experience who thrives in a mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do as the Director of Accounting :

Oversee daily accounting operations and staff performance.

Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Support month-end close, audits, and compliance requirements.

Enhance procedures and processes using NetSuite (and legacy Sage ) systems.

What You'll Need :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including staff supervision.

Healthcare or non-profit experience preferred.
