A company is looking for a Patient Advocate to work in a remote call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outreach to patients recently discharged from the hospital to assess their needs and prepare for clinical assessments
Assist patients with inquiries and connect them with specialty teams as needed
Coordinate care for patients, including scheduling doctor's appointments and escalating issues when appropriate
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience in the healthcare or medical industry as a Medical Assistant
1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment preferred
Ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications
Intermediate keyboarding abilities (at least 35 WPM) and basic PC skills
