Position Title : Power Platform Developer

Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Clearance Requirements : None required

Position Status : Contract (7 months, likely extension)

Pay Rate : $64 on hour C2C

Position Description :

We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to join a high-impact project supporting a major public sector client in Austin, Texas. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in hybrid environments, love solving complex business challenges, and have a deep understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

As a Power Platform Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse, while collaborating with business users and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

You'll play a key role in expanding Microsoft 365 Power Platform capabilities and contributing to initiatives like the Invoice Tracking System (ITS) for the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) CFO.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate flows, and Power Pages integrated with Dataverse, SharePoint, and other systems.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and workflow documentation.
• Partner with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into functional Power Platform solutions.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality, secure applications.
• Contribute to Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in Power Platform development.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance standards within the Power Platform environment.

Required Skills & Experience :

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Power Platform governance and best practices.

Prior experience supporting Texas state agencies or other public sector environments.

Familiarity with Power Virtual Agents and Power Apps mobile applications.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
