Job Title
Subject Matter Expert on all areas of scheduling systems. Able to provide expert guidance and direction on problem solving and system optimization for bulk, rack, branded and unbranded systems. Able to step in and backfill for periods of time on any scheduling desk as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of monitoring and maintaining fuel inventory positions at multiple Bulk and Rack supplied terminals. Responsibilities include managing tankage based on stockholder capacity and ratable demand, as well as, mitigating exposure to penalties associated with various contract commitments for numerous Branded and Unbranded Suppliers, while ensuring security of supply to our stores and simultaneously minimizing working capital requirements.
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of optimizing financial benefits in relation to supply and terminal related costs to drive maximum profit. Work closely with Commercial Traders to identify synergies and execute market opportunities to reduce costs and / or capture value potential within the system.
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of accurately forecasting and nominating volume requirements on a timely basis to multiple suppliers, for various modes of transport, as applicable.
- Daily interaction with external Suppliers, Terminals partners and Pipeline operations to manage supply requirements based on current strategies, demand and contractual commitments.
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of responsibilities include waterborne bulk and / or pipeline inbound and outbound movements, balancing terminal positions and monitoring rack allocations with daily planned and unplanned supply / maintenance / weather / demand constraints.
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of daily interaction with internal departments (Transportation, Brands, Accounting, Pricing and Field Operations) to prioritize, communicate and support current strategies and initiatives while mitigating supply disruptions to our stores.
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of maintaining close partnership with Transportation Schedulers, Carriers and other internal and external counterparts to verify execution, identify efficiencies, resolve supply issues and maximize profit.
- Provide guidance and direction in support Real Estate and M&A for new store growth by establishing new Bulk and Rack Terminal positions, PL shipping capabilities, and required set ups with new Suppliers across multiple internal and external departments in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and direction as well as execution of daily, weekly and monthly support to Accounting, necessary to reconcile product cost and quantities for both purchases and sales, required for prompt payment and accurate financial reporting.
