Job description

Commercial Card Relationship Manager

Responsible for the ongoing management of the Commercial Card Relationship Managers within the Truist Corporate and Specialize Industries line-of-businesses (LOB). Build and execute the strategy to attain Truist Financial goals for Commercial Card revenue. Foster strong relationships with Truist leaders across all LOBs to facilitate success of Truist directives. Primary Goal : Accelerate revenue and portfolio growth through strategy, coaching, and process improvement for Commercial Card Relationship Managers. Prioritize Commercial Card Solutions across LOB leaders to grow engagement and product revenue. Attract, develop and retain talent to foster continued growth of Commercial Card team.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Responsible for strategy for revenue growth and improving teammate and client experiences. Work with Head of Commercial Card to create goals and assign to CCRM team as appropriate. Work with LOB Senior Leaders to outline growth hurdles and expectations. Provide guidance and partnership for LOB Leadership on outlining and tracking Commercial Credit Card goals.

2. Coach, mentor, and develop teammates to achieve growth and bring the Truist brand and culture to life. Responsible for clearly defining expectations for teammates to assist with their ongoing success. Attend relationship reviews with the team. Focus on growth of teammates to include 1 on 1 coaching, providing industry best practices- experiences and lead by example.

3. Provide Coaching and leadership to level I and II teammates. Participate in team calls to assist with revenue generating ideas, LOB communication, coaching and mentoring specific group managers. Provide growth plans and coaching sessions that encompass a caring and trusting environment.

4. Build strong relationship with leaders across all lines of business. Be present in leadership meetings and be the Commercial Card brand ambassador. Present ongoing data around team performance and where there is room for improvement, provide solutions to do so. Attend Wholesale Payments Senior Leadership meetings to provide updates on revenue growth, and as expert on specific projects.

5. Analyze and execute opportunities to reduce risk and increase profitability across the Commercial Card portfolios. Develop and present mitigation options with Fraud team for review. Provide Commercial Card expertise from Client perspective.

6. Provide industry expertise to promote commercial card usage and keep card top of mind for internal and external leaders. Have a detailed understanding of the Truist Commercial Card products, platforms and processes.

7. Stay up to date on product enhancements and provide clear updates to your team and Partners as appropriate.

Qualifications Required Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Travel required - approximately 70%

2. Undergraduate Degree in a Business discipline or equivalent education and related training.

3. 7+ years Commercial Card industry experience, preferably in sales or account management.

4. 4+ years leadership experience with sales or account management teams.

5. Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently.

6. Proven experience working across departments, lines of business within large financial organizations.

7. Keep a growth mindset to adapt and resolve escalating complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Industry certifications relating to Commercial Card Solutions

2. Master's Degree in Business

3. 7+ years' experience working in the Banking Industry
