Position Summary :

We are seeking a visionary Senior Software Engineering Manager with a knack for leadership and a passion for crafting exceptional web, eCommerce, and mobile experiences.

As the driving force behind our digital evolution, you will lead the development of high-impact projects that cater to our growing community of fitness enthusiasts.

This role is unique; it requires a leader who is equally comfortable coding as they are managing projects and teams, including third-party vendors.

You'll be at the forefront of developing innovative features such as gamification, rewards systems, and a seamless user experience, drawing inspiration from customer-centric brands like Dave and Buster's, Top Golf, Wingstop, Pizza Hut, etc.

• You will lead the effort to redesign our mobile app from the ground up with a focus on frictionless customer experience and self-service capabilities;
• Help us define the technical architecture roadmap and lead the implementation as we continue our digital transformation journey;
• Identify & explore opportunities business to leverage AI strategically across the business to streamline workflows and improve employee effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and execute web, eCommerce, and mobile development projects, ensuring they align with our strategic vision and meet critical deadlines.
• Hands-on development, including coding, to drive project completion and address any technical challenges.
• Manage and collaborate with third-party vendors for ongoing projects, ensuring their integration and enhancement of existing systems.
• Drive innovation by implementing features like gamification, points / rewards systems, and enhanced user experiences, drawing on high volume membership and billing platform expertise.
• Foster a culture of excellence, agility, and innovation within the team, promoting our EPIC core values.
• Quality Assurance Expertise : Seeking a proficient tester with a comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and automated testing, to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.

Must-Have Attributes :

Proven Leadership : Demonstrated experience in leading software development projects with a focus on web, eCommerce, and mobile platforms.

A track record of successful project delivery, embodying our leadership and management principles.

• Technical Expertise : Hands-on coding skills and a thorough understanding of modern development practices and technologies.
• Innovative Thinking : A creative approach to problem-solving, with experience in developing features that engage and retain customers, akin to the experiences provided by brands like Dave and Buster's and Top Golf.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Expertise in React Native, , TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with payment processing APIs, ensuring secure coding practices in a PCI-compliant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
• o React Native, Node JS, TypeScript, HTML, CSSo AWS serverless computing including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDBo Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Webflow CMS, SEO, Zoho PageSense, Sanityo Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Webhooks, Graph APIo iOS & Android application development

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in hands-on software development and project management in the tech industry.

Experience in the fitness, restaurant, or retail industry is a plus, especially with subscription-based products.
