Job description

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Location: Edenbrook Lakeside | Milwaukee, WI

Compensation: $135,000-$155,000 base salary, plus a performance-based quarterly bonus

About Eden Senior Care

Eden Senior Care, founded in 2016, is a growing healthcare management company that operates skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living communities across the Midwest. We support each community with strong leadership, regional and corporate resources, and the tools to succeed.

About Edenbrook Lakeside

Edenbrook Lakeside is an established skilled nursing facility in Milwaukee that is growing its specialty and high-acuity services. We are launching a ventilator and respiratory program, led by a dedicated respiratory services director, and a dialysis unit run in partnership with a dialysis provider. We are seeking an experienced, steady Administrator to lead a busy, complex building and continue strengthening its operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the building: Provide full operational leadership of the facility, with authority over all departments.
  • Build the team: Develop and empower department heads through clear ownership, delegation and accountability.
  • Regulatory and survey readiness: Lead survey preparation and response, plan-of-correction development and QAPI. Maintain strong, consistent compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • High-acuity program growth: Partner with respiratory and clinical leadership to successfully launch and grow the ventilator/respiratory and dialysis programs.
  • Census and referrals: Drive admissions, hospital and referral relationships, payer mix and market reputation.
  • Financial performance: Manage the facility budget, labor costs, revenue and overall financial performance.
  • Culture and communication: Foster a professional, collaborative culture with open communication among staff, residents and families.
  • Risk management: Identify and address operational, clinical and safety risks early.

What We're Looking For

  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted Wisconsin NHA license required. Highly experienced Administrators licensed in another state, such as Illinois, will be considered if eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity. Wisconsin licensure is a condition of employment, and timing will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Experience: 3+ years as a skilled nursing facility Administrator required.
  • High-acuity and regulatory background (strongly preferred): Ventilator/trach, respiratory, dialysis or medically complex services, plus a track record of survey success and regulatory improvement.
  • Census and finance: Proven results in census growth, admissions and financial performance.
  • Leadership: Strong department-head leadership and team development, with a calm, collaborative and accountable style.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability: Must live within a sustainable commuting distance of Milwaukee or be willing to relocate, and be available as the building's 24/7 leader.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary, plus a performance-based quarterly bonus
  • Health, dental and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO, including vacation and sick days
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
  • Regional and corporate support
  • Opportunity for growth

If you are an experienced Administrator who wants to lead a growing high-acuity building and develop a strong team, we encourage you to apply.
