Summary :
Serves as the first contact and greets patients and visitors to The MetroHealth System in assigned area(s). Provides navigation, information, and assistance in a courteous, respectful, and friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment. Facilitates efficient flow of patients and guests at main entrance points. Ensures that main entrances are tidy, safe and reflect a welcoming environment. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications : Required :
- High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Experience in a customer service position in a healthcare, hospitality, or retail environment.
- Ability to provide clear and accurate verbal instructions.
- Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
- Possesses basic computer hardware and software skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with people from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Presents a professional demeanor at all times.
Preferred :
Physical Requirements : May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended need to push / pull up to 500 pounds with in the normal visual range with or without in the normal audio range with or without correction.
