Job Title : Machinist Apprentice

Reporting To : Leader, Performance

Onsite - Torrance, CA

Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for 2 Machinist Apprentices to join them. You will report to our Machine Shop Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule at our aerospace plant in Torrance, CA.

Our Apprenticeship Program is designed so that the apprentice will receive hands on training on Moog machinery (CNC, Automatic, some manual machines), and processes throughout all functions of the machine shop. The apprentice will not just learn how to machine and process Moog hardware but will also gain an understanding of the big picture - how the apprentice's actions impact all operations, including Assembly & Test and Inspection as it pertains to quality, delivery, and cost.

• High School Diploma, GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Salary Range Transparency :

Torrance, CA $25.00-$25.00 Hourly

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
