Professional Financial Services is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Tallahassee, FL branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to build valuable experience in the financial services industry.
In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting our branch operations. You'll work with customers and dealerships, review and process automobile loan documentation, set up new customer accounts, maintain accurate records, process payments, and help ensure our customers receive professional and courteous service.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Review automobile loan packets for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation.
• Complete employment and other required verifications.
• Communicate with dealerships to obtain missing documents and resolve routine discrepancies.
• Fund approved dealership loans once all documentation and verification requirements are complete.
• Set up new customer accounts and prepare welcome materials.
• Conduct welcome calls with new customers and provide support.
• Scan and maintain accurate and confidential electronic records.
• Monitor and follow up on automobile titles.
• Accept and accurately post customer payments.
• Provide support with collection activities on delinquent accounts within established procedures.
• Assist with GAP and vehicle service contract administration.
• Process invoices and authorized financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare bank deposits and assist with routine branch administrative responsibilities.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers, dealerships, and internal partners.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while paying close attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of administrative experience; auto-finance experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities with accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
• Comfortable using computers and account-management systems.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays as needed by branch operations.
SCHEDULE
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays as needed by the branch.
This is an onsite position at our Tallahassee, FL location.
