Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler supports the Planning, Manufacturing, and Production teams by managing work order jobs and delivering physical materials. This role involves working closely with the Warehouse to receive critical materials in the ERP system and coordinating with the Quality department for quality checks. The Material Handler is responsible for organizing, scanning, and attaching documentation in the ERP system, delivering raw materials and hardware to designated areas, and ensuring correct material type and count for each job is properly staged.
Responsibilities
- Work with Warehouse to receive critical material in ERP system.
- Coordinate with Quality department to quality check critical material in ERP system.
- Organize, scan, and attach documentation in ERP system.
- Deliver raw material and hardware to designated areas within the facility.
- Pull work order jobs and issue material to job numbers as required by production and manufacturing.
- Ensure correct material type and count for each job is correctly staged.
- Ensure proper material stocking levels and work with Planning to identify and avoid shortages.
- Operate area-appropriate machinery, including loading material and checking machine calibration.
- Manage inventory using EPICOR to reflect materials issued.
- Coordinate material testing with Material Test Lab.
Essential Skills
- Experience in material handling and inventory management.
- Proficiency with forklifts.
- Experience using RF scanners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, organize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook), with ERP experience being a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to use stairs and occasionally lift objects up to 95 lbs.

Work Environment
This role operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm, with every other Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. The work involves using forklifts and RF scanners in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position requires physical activity, including the use of stairs and occasionally lifting objects up to 95 lbs. A one-step interview process with an onsite manager will take place, lasting approximately one hour.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mukilteo, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
