Furnace Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Grand Prairie. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial furnace equipment while ensuring production, quality
, and safety standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor industrial furnaces and heat-treatment equipment.
Set and maintain proper furnace temperatures, cycle times, and operating parameters.
Load and unload furnace equipment according to production requirements.
Monitor gauges, controls, temperature readings, and equipment performance.
Troubleshoot furnace, burner, heating, and control-system issues.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs on furnace equipment.
Identify equipment problems and communicate more complex maintenance needs.
Inspect processed materials to ensure they meet production and quality
specifications.
Complete production, temperature, maintenance, and quality
documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
