Job description3+ years of experience in a Design Technologist, Front-End Developer, or similar role focused on UI development and prototyping. Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript. Experience working with Figma or similar design tools, and translating designs into code. Solid understanding of component-based architecture and design systems Familiarity with Git Demonstrable experience or strong interest in applying AI / ML concepts to design technology, front-end development, or creative workflows (e.g., using generative AI for UI elements, AI for code refactoring, intelligent prototyping tools, etc.). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between design and engineering. Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute frontend development tasks and projects within established timelines. Experience with Storybook or similar component documentation tools. Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices. Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications. Familiarity with prompt engineering for generative AI models. A portfolio showcasing interactive prototypes, UI components, or design system contributions, especially those that highlight your use of AI in the development process. Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools such as React testing library and Cypress / Playwright Up to $39.31 / hr. (W2)
